I like it here. The food's good, the coffee's good, the space is pleasant and the staff are nice. Not just occasionally either. Consistently over years. I dropped in here late in the day today. Had eggs on toast and a coffee basically. Both were lovely. What topped it all off was the attitude of the two staff members, one older woman who was cooking and a younger woman who was serving. They couldn't have been more efficient and pleasant. It's a nice place here. Long may it prosper.

Best coffee on the strip. Great coffee. Great barista. Great food.

Don't get lured in by the other coffee shops in this 'top of little collins' strip - this is the best place of the lot.

Meatball (hommus and melted cheese) sandwich a highlight and the soups - chicken, potato and leek and pumpkin never disappoint. Wraps are also top notch.

Another plug to the barista, down to earth and will remember your order by sight within a couple of visits.

You recognise a “foodie” kind of place when you see one! Mamma’s Boy is a “foodie” haven, like Fatto a Mano is a “foodie” haven. One of the best value gourmet establishments in Melbourne. The breakfast jaffles are amazing and served up fast! Extremely popular with office workers. As are the Afghani Eggs! And the toasties for lunch!
